This is one of my favorite cigars. In my opinion a slept on cigar that is looked at more like a second cousin than a high class brand. I love the interesting blend of smoothness with a bit of cedar and a nice nuttiness that to me very few cigars offer. This cigar is rather small being almost a panatella format but allows for multiple cigars in an evening. smooth is the best way to describe this cigar its a bit short in the finish department but for the price point, around 2 dollars or so, its well worth the bit that its lacking.

Now then as for the wine, this is really an interesting bottle i have drank quite a bit of their Shiraz and have liked it but didn’t expect their zin to be this good. this nose is actually a bit misleading as the alcohol seems to over power most of it. it does have a bit of ripe red fruit and a hint of tobacco barnyardiness that so many cigar smoker look for in a good box of cigars. When i sip this whine it actually is really really smooth with virtually no alcohol burn. It has some great sour cherry notes to it that actually aren’t so much that you pucker but its close. Id say its like sour cherries wrapped in a nice Honduran cigar wrapper leaf, it definitely has some earthiness that i find in cigars. Its a pretty good pairing and at around 15 dollars its definitely going to go into my regular rotation of wines to pair with cigars.
