I have to say this cigar with this port is just perfect. if you have ever smoked a Cazadore then you know the strength that these buggers can have. The nice thing with this port is its not over sweet but it has a wonderful sweet chocolate flavor that i can really only describe as Nestles Rasinettes. The sweetness does a great job of cutting the harshness that can sometime come with the strength of the Cazadore. I have never heard of a Petite Sirah Port but i gotta tell you i am looking for more now that i have tried this one. I know Bogle is a California producer who’s wines seem to be a bit of an entry level wine and this bottle was no exception i believe it was 12 dollars. its a 500 ml bottle which is odd i mean 750ml or 375ml make sense but this is the first one i have ever seen at 500ml. Back to the cigar, this particular cigar is just great nice full bodied straight forward tobacco flavors. Dark chocolate notes are also fairly prevalent and pop even more so with this pairing. No draw or burn issues on this particular cigar. Just an all around great night to celebrate a good day on the free agent market for my penguins.
